SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION
Charis Fund supports nonprofit organizations as designated under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. If your organization or project focuses on addressing social welfare (prioritizing hunger, homelessness, at-risk youth), health and health care, or education needs and meets the tax code specifications, you are welcome to submit a proposal. We give lower priority to requests for operating funds/general support. In deference to our mission and to the communities we serve, we limit cumulative funding to individual organizations at $30,000. If an organization reaches that limit we ask them to wait five years following the last approved request to submit another proposal. At that point, requests will be considered on a case to case basis.
STEPS TO SUBMIT
Proposal submissions start on January 1 for the spring cycle and July 1 for the fall cycle. A maximum of 50 proposals will be accepted each cycle. Your grant submission should include the following items submitted together (using the link below) as one (1) PDF, preferably in the order we have listed. Please plan to submit your request early as we expect to reach the 50 proposal maximum quickly.
**NOTE: Starting in 2024 the portals will open on January 15 and July 15
